Happy Birthday to me...once more...
Well, in mere hours...I will be 17...legally old enough to see Rated R films...and that age that to me indicates one beginning to get old XP

Congrats on another year having gone by. :P
But TL's got a point, I'm sure you've seen them "illegally" (I'm not even sure it's illegal to see an R rated movie when you're young, it's just an agreed-upon policy in conjunction with the MPAA to forbid it in movie theaters), but in today's movie industry, R-rated means "has a pointless shower scene". ^_^ Movies are only an hour and a half long on average, and yet they can't wait until after...

Yes, I'm well aware of the tastelessness of much of the ratings....(and of course it never stopped me before either) But it's just an indicator to me of a day I felt like wouldn't come for a while...one year to 18.

I'm already 18...a legal adult in Canada! Unless I move in USA, which will probably never happen, I've got no more special years to come. 21 doesn't mean anything in Canada...*shrugs*

I don't blame him. Most movies are, IMO, just plain crappy. The only stuff I see voluntarily are Star Wars and LotR. :E

Most movies these days are crappy, aimed at the "moron" spectrum of teenagers, or aimed at the younger audience.
