So Cream the Rabbit is real
Yup Sonic Teams website with new screenshots of Sonic Advanced 2 at sonic teams website, Cream the Rabbit a new character was introduced. IMO is the first female Sonic character with a neat look to it.

I swear SEGA made her just to spite the argument I coined over Rouge being a ripoff of Bunnie...
Cream and Cheese. Why those names? Cheese I'll accept for the chao; but CREAM? Cotton is a better name IMO >.o

Cream's SAdv sprites look like they've been edited from Amy.
Ah well.
As for the names... I think Sonic Team just has a fixation for Cream cheese.
..As do I. =9
But they seem like a nice addition to the Sonic group to me.
I bet they just put her in as a possible love interest for Tails. ;P

Apparently, according to altavista, Cream is 6 years younger than Tails. In no situation would a love intrest between them not be considered "cradle robbing".

We all know the truth...
Amy's put on a costume to confuse Sonic and get him while he's trying to work it out. ;P How she fit her large SA2B bust in the outfit, I don't know...
Squiggles: Not anything serious, but "puppy-dog love" is an extreme likelihood. I mean, look how she flies with her ears, a direct edit of Tails and Amy sprites intermixed. Do the math.

Meh, looks like someone just needed a placeholder. If you play SRB2 as Tails, there are a few positions where he turns into Sonic. The lives icom could be a similar deal.

My opinion:
I like her. She has started to revitalize my faith in Sonic team and that they may actually still be good.

Tails has always been officially 8. What Sqiggs means is that she is 6. I think. That's what big_smile (who translated the relevent documents) said.

Neil: Yeah, but he's... well, 12 in SA. The first one that is. Apparently he got younger in preparation for the 2nd one.
So I suppose it is possible he's reverted back to 8 by now, then. ;)

PROOF PLZ MR. SZ (Of Tails being 12 in SA. I saw no evidence of this)
And I just consider them ageless characters. ie.. Sonic will always been 16, Tails will be 8, Knuckles will be 15 etc etc

I saved the picture as evidence. I'm not sure about the placeholder theory Andrusi, the icon seems to have already been edited. Then again, maybe it's just something to do with the pallet.
The picture is interesting in another way though. Apparently it looks like there might actually be some storyline in this game, although I haven't followed barely any news about SA2 so this could be ancient news.

Well, I hate to bring logic into Sonic, but... I'm just being logical.
He
A) sounds like he's around 12 in the US version
B) acts rather smart and logical throughout the game
C) doesn't act immature
D) and I think he was listed as 12 in some game info page
However, like I said, he's most certainly not the same in SA2. He actually acts more like an 8 year old in that ... (if they were in fact going for an age of 8 with him in SA1, they did a horrid job, in any case)

I'm not too thrilled with her, but I don't loathe her or anything. She's just "Okay".
Edit: What if the Chao Garden is revamped so Cheese gets new attacks? o_O Perhaps unlikely, but then again -- if they do item upgrades in this game (New shoes, etc) for new moves, perhaps it's possible.

Looking at the screenshots, Cheese would almost seem to serve a similar purpose as those birds of Super Tails in S3&K.
But I'm not sure. At all. It just looks that way.
