I don't feel like getting into the Bill Gates topic. Though if someone else did, I might join in.
About the Hitler ad though, I didn't find it funny. Although it was good work on the picture, the text was disturbing. Plus, I don't think that Nintendo wants to be associated with with a person who directly or indirectly killed millions of people.
