Why does the position I'm interested in say it's through ABE?
Google recognizes that there are times during the course of business that workloads increase and additional staff is needed to accomplish specific tasks or projects. Google has elected to manage these temporary needs by partnering with ABE services to assist with Google's temporary staffing needs. The position you are interested in is an ABE-sponsored position. If you are selected to work on this position, you will be working on a temporary assignment at Google, but you will be employed by ABE Services.
Who is ABE?
ABE Services is a leading provider of professional level on-site Contingent Workforce Program Management. ABE provides its employees with an excellent and robust employee benefits package. Their benefits will be offered to temporary workers on assignments at Google who work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
What does accepting an offer from ABE mean?
You will be an employee of ABE Services assigned to a project at Google for a maximum period of 12 months. This means ABE will manage your employment and handle all employment related matters. They will also issue your weekly paycheck and will administer all of your benefits.
