Position based in Mountain View, CA.

Google is the world's largest search engine and is also one of the most-visited sites on the internet. We are a public, NASDAQ-listed company [GOOG] with over 3,000 employees and have been profitable for over three years. Google's mission is to: Organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful.

We are looking for seasoned, savvy, and energetic professionals for the role of Business Operations Associate. The Business Operations group leads company-wide strategic and operational initiatives critical to the ongoing growth of the company. Initiatives the team has led include: Entering a new Asian market; entering two Latin American markets; evaluation and planning of several new product ideas; redefining our sales channel strategy; and streamlining several core internal business processes to increase efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated top quartile performance in a consulting, investment banking, or management trainee role, and have graduated at or near the top of his or her class from a leading academic institution. We are looking for self-starters who can work in a rapidly changing industry, tolerate ambiguity, and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Help communicate findings and recommendations to business group leadership.
  • Manage discrete pieces of the problem at hand.

  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment.
  • Experience in the software, internet, or media industries preferred, but not required.
  • Superior Excel financial modeling skills; proficient PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
