Google Merchant Services Privacy Policy

The Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/intl/en/privacy.html) describes how we treat personal information when you use Google's services, including information that you provide when you use Google Merchant Services, such as Froogle, Google Local Business Center, etc. In addition, this document describes our practices that are specific to Google Merchant Services.

Information we collect and how we use it

When you register for a Google Merchant service, Google collects some limited personal information such as your name, your phone number, and your email address. For some services, you also be asked for additional information, such as data feeds to list in Froogle or business information for Google Local listings.

We retain and use the information you provide in order to deliver our services, including internal security and other legitimate business purposes. As a Google Merchant, you will receive email newsletters and service updates to stay informed about Google Merchant services. In addition, from time to time we may send you customer satisfaction surveys or marketing information about other Google services that may be of interest to you.

Updating your information

You can update or correct your personally identifiable information at any time by accessing your account at the Froogle Merchant Center (https://www.google.com/froogle/merchants/welcome) or Google Local Business Center (http://www.google.com/local/add).
