As the title suggests, my computer has been randomly restarting. Whenever it restarts though, it usually just goes to a black screen and I have to hard shutdown. Usually after I start it back up, it'll sometimes just restart instantly or about 5-10 minutes after.
I have no idea what the hell would be the problem. Any tips? ;O;

As I think I tried to mention in the chat, some of the other symptoms that your computer is displaying are indicative of a mass spyware infection. At least, in your case, I hope that's all it is. It's certainly not unheard of for multiple competing spyware products (which are often poorly coded) can cause a restart of your machine.
However, the usual cause of random restarts is overheating, which is often caused by a dead fan. You can't always tell if the computer is overheating, because often times, it's the CPU fan, which is located near the center of the machine, has given out. If the power supply fan has given out, you can tell pretty easily by placing your hand on the top of the rear of the computer, where the power supply is usually located, or placing your hand near the vents on the back of the computer.
I'd try operating in Safe Mode for a while, and see if it does the same thing.

Pretty much the second half of what Squigg's said. I've never seen Spyware cause the random restart or random half-restart before. It's always been a hardware problem/fault in my experience. Overheating is a good one. Bad memory is a close second.

My friend's computer restarts whenever it seems a specific file is accessed, whether it's opened or not.
Run Adaware, Spybot, etc... restarts it asap. Safe Mode buggers up, too. =/

Well, I know now that it is for sure a hardware problem. Whenever I moved my laptop or bumped it, it would restart.
I took it to the computer help center on campus and they looked at it, but it wouldn't restart for them. I take it back and it starts doing it again. This is surely some kind of cruel joke.
I'll have to take it back again tomorrow.

If it's physical movements like bumping causing restarts... I'll change my suspicion to suggest a damaged power cable or faulty power supply.
