Re: Bored??
Actually when I think of it, that DOES make sense; the images are static and so long as your cache is functioning corrrectly, all it has to do is make a quick check with the server to make sure the information hasn't changed, and then just rip out what you already have. The whole point in its design was to PREVENT unnecessary, repeated access for redundant data.
And obviously the PHP's return dynamic stuff that potentially changes everytime you load them.

... Does anyone else find it odd that EZBoard adresses don't have file extentions?

I think DE here could host any temporary forums, should we need it. He could be like the MC's emergancy quick fix repair man. It's better than having to rely on EzBread in times of darkness. After Kulock purchases more bandwidth, or if he can't purcase more, we could use DigiBase in the case of Bandwidth running out.
Why not? Sure, there's no way in hell he could host if 24/7 for long, hell, none on us can. But I'm betting it'd be fine for a week or two every now and then. =D

Re: Still
That is where I wnet wrong. I doun't use a cashe, because HD space is tight, and i don't want any evidence should the feds get my computer (I also don't keep a history file). I don't need it cause I have broadband. I assumed everyone did the same.

Re: Still
I have broadband, but I use a cache because I don't care. I suppose I don't need to, though. It's just easier, especially when people have slower servers. I also don't need to worry about hard disk space, since I have an insane amount left.

I think it's a lot of clever visual tricks like
fmooglecavernfrm12.showAddReplyScreenFromWeb
As far as the server is concerned, it doesn't really pay that much attention to the file extension; that's just mostly for ease-of-use in identification (hence why the .TXT trick works), and might cause trouble browser-end for images, depending how "smart" the browser is...
Then there's also a possibility they have a very customized webserver that reads specialized URL inputs that don't really reference files at all (directly)
And... ONO DIGI WAS DELETED BY AN EVIL POSTER!
