A bit odd.
MoogleMB & Sepwich get slammed for Bandwidth overuse, while at the same time teamartail gets hax0red, and had their data entirely wiped.
Quite lovely, if I do say so myself. Makes me wonder if all three aren't related, somehow...

Re: A bit odd.
Oh, I forgot to mention; the TeamArtail Hax0ring... well, from the TeamArtail forum:
Apparently the hosting company we currently reside in got scanned for some vulnerability which we are currently unaware of (they wouldn't tell us or are too stupid to know). As well as TeamArtail, many of their servers were compromised, and being used to attack other internet hosts. Stupidly, company policy once your box is pulled is to hold your data pending execution. There were no appeals, even emails to the CEO and multiple telephone conversations came to nothing. Our data was slated to be erased, and they would simply not work with us to give it back. We even offered to buy the infected drive, and it's replacement. No dice. They are indeed assholes on the christmas season.

Re: A bit odd.
How helpful Scott.
I'm not sure if they're related, if we also had high numbers for November, but it could've been a slow, gradual process to not alert suspicion, and it just didn't work in time for November.
That's a lot different from a sudden hacking of Team Artail's server, I'd say, though.
And their host sounds like a right bastard. I've not had good experiences with MatrixCubed and SquareInternet, and Liquidweb is arse depending who in the helpstaff I get to talk to, but I'm happy with this host, I hope this can get worked out. They've been accomodating and swift to help when I send in tickets.

VerseHost said they didn't notice anything suspicious in the logs, but they'll keep an eye out for it. I'll sift through them myself in a few days...

Huh, I wondered what happened to Team Artail.
If the Sonic Cult really is behind this, what could we do?

It's not the CuLT, guys. If you do anything serious, well, that would be stupid and unwanted and would cause many more problems than it would fix.
Like I said, Pachuka wants to poke at people and piss them off -- NOT be outright mallicous.
