Sonic: 17
Knux: 16 (Or maybe it was the other way around?)
Amy: 13
Tails: 12
...which would make Cream 6 years old and Tails on the verge of puberty...
And Sz, If I'm not mistaken, the chao sprite in thoose picures id the chao from the 2P mode in S Adv 1. If you want I have a (almost) complete Chao's Petit Garden spritesheet.

*shrugs* Tikal's tale unfolded in the span of one game, although I think they're going to introduce her as a "Beginner" character, like they described, meaning she's going to be the way through for younger kids, so the "S3&K Tails bird" description may not be far off, actually, it might help destroy enemies on the way.
I wonder if Amy will be included as a secret character? I mean, it's not like they'd have to resprite her, and they could just up her speed like they did in SA2 (and NOT SA2B, where they made her virtually unplayable as a versus character) to get rid of some of the "too slow" problems.
