Temporary Server Problems with PHP - board reopened for now
They mentioned something earlier about looking for an alternative to a PHP executor they used due to the PHP team discovering a major security bug in what they currently had, and apprently their decision just kicked into place, or they were attempting to do some server work and it sent something off-kilter, I don't know.
Either way, I suggest giving it two or three days to make sure it's not temporary, I'll be watching my MB software's site for a patch if there is one (if it was a flaw the PHP group discovered, it sounds like it'd be major enough to warrant attention by the MB service that apparently relies on it) and my e-mail for any furter contact or explanation by the host. If it's not back within two or three days, I'll say something about it (hey, I'm not interested in throwing away the money I just spent). This isn't really enjoyable right now, I know, but don't treat it like the end of the world or our time on this host, either. There's some other things that clue me in that these problems may be temporary and not something serious. We'll see.
Oddly, the Oekaki still seems to work right now, although I didn't attempt to draw on it.

I jumped the gun a little and sent a message to our host about it, basically asking what the security problem was (I saw no mention of it on php.net ) and a rough estimate when a replacement would be found, and if it affected the scripts we used. Worse-case scenario, I've got other hosts I can try, but this one's been accomodating, and this could be something that gets worked out fast. That's not usually been our luck, buuuuut... ;P
But best we can do right now is the ezBoard, unless you wanted me to try to beg a temp forum off Rlan for a little bit. ;D Hey, I hosted him (or tried), why not...? ^_^ (Kidding, kidding.)
