Enterprise Sales Engineer - Federal

We are looking for a Sales Engineer with excellent technical, communication
and organizational skills to join our Federal sales team. You will work with

Generate and close sales of the Google Search Appliance among U.S. Dept. of
Defense government agencies. Cold call on new prospects and follow up on

Duties and Responsibilities:

Research, evaluate and acquire online public record GIS data (imagery, vector,
terrain) based on Google GIS data requirements and specifications. Assist data production team with initial preparation and
evaluation of acquired data prior to complete data processing. Research and recommend commercial GIS data sources based on
ongoing Google data requirements.
Requirements:

- 1-2 years experience with GIS systems/tools such as ESRI, MapInfo and fluency with vector, image and/or terrain.

Google is looking for upbeat, focused and well-organized individuals to join
the Enterprise Sales team selling Google Enterprise Solutions including the
Google search appliance. The Google Search Appliance is a hardware and
software product designed to offer large businesses the productivity-enhancing
power of Google search.
You must be comfortable making dozens of cold calls a day, generating
interest, qualifying prospects, building solutions and closing sales of $30 to
$100K. You must also have demonstrated experience prospecting and growing an
account list, as well as closing sales.
Responsibilities:
