Google Creative Director
Position based in Mountain View, CA.
We're looking for an innovative, rules-breaking creative director that can
apply the same level of creative originality to Google's marketing activity
that the company has applied to online search and advertising. This is a plum
creative position: it's all creative. No management or budget responsibilities
in the job; rather we're looking for someone who can come up with a stream of
Next Big Ideas in marketing, and be willing to put the integrity and power of
the Google brand behind those ideas.
The candidate we're looking for should have:
- 10 year's agency/in-house experience managing creative for a global brand.
- Proven expertise at creating high buzz/word of mouth/viral marketing.
- Proven expertise at highly creative, innovative online marketing techniques.
- A passion for online marketing.
- A passion for revolutionary technologies.
- A love of Google products and the Google brand.
- A healthy skepticism with traditional marketing mores.
- A portfolio of wild, breakthrough ideas that haven't seen the light of day.
- A passion for big marketing ideas that have lasting brand impact.
This position works closely with Google's product marketing and marketing
communications groups, as well as outside agencies.

Associate Product Marketing Manager
Position based in Mountain View, CA.

include working with the Product Marketing Managers, the corporate marketing

Requirements:
- BA/BS degree.

Marketing Manager - Amsterdam
Position based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Do you love Google? Interested in learning more about one of the most cutting-edge technology companies in the world? We are looking for flexible, hardworking, experienced people, passionate about Google, to analyze, measure, position, package, and promote Google's product and business
offerings in the Benelux market. Responsible for supporting Google's revenue generating efforts in the Benelux market through effective and results-focused marketing campaigns. Key activities include organizing, negotiating and managing direct mail campaigns, partnership marketing
and affiliate programmes, online/offline advertising campaigns, trade shows, Google events and seminars.
Major functions:
- Develop, manage and implement the Benelux marketing plan, working closely with the Google Product & Corporate Marketing teams in the U.S. and the Google Benelux Sales team.
- Champion needs of the Benelux market in a fast-changing and dynamic international company.
- Contribute proactively to the overall development of Google through ideas and creativity based in solid market and sector knowledge.
- Monitor consumer, industry and competitive behaviour in the Benelux market and provide local market expertise to the Google team.
- Implement marketing programmes encompassing a combination of marketing tactics including direct marketing, affiliate marketing, stand-alone events and seminars, online/offline advertising and promotions.
- Co-ordinate the production of marketing communications materials including sales collateral, presentations, merchandise, print and online advertising, email newsletters.
- Evaluate trade shows and industry events and advise on where company participation or sponsorship would be appropriate. Negotiate and organize Google presence at these events.
- Organize stand-alone Google events and workshops, where appropriate.
- Source and analyze research material in specific industry categories as needed, to provide statistical support for marketing and sales efforts in general.
- Evaluate consumer marketing opportunities and manage Google consumer marketing activities in The Benelux.
Education and Language Skills:
- Third level education from recognized top university.
- MBA or masters ideally required.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, additional skills in French preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years marketing experience in the Benelux market.
- 1-3 years Internet, online services/media industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years business-to-business marketing experience.
- Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market.
- Understanding of the search, online advertising, or web publishing markets.
- Understanding of Google's strategic and competitive position.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding and highly creative marketing achievements with limited budgets.
- A proven, successful track record of increasing company revenue and awareness through well-executed marketing efforts.
- Thorough knowledge of off/online advertising planning, tracking and reporting.
Skills and Abilities:
- Motivated and creative with the ability to self-manage.
- Strong negotiation and budget-management skills.
- Excellent oral communication skills, fluency in English also required.
- Project management skills and the ability to multi-task across projects and products.
